Fireworks and fun, 2012

We enjoyed a low-key holiday and grilled out with friends Gail and Dan, and their kids. I've spent several years with them on the 4th, since they just live the next neighborhood over AND their driveway is nice and flat! We were pretty low-key on the fireworks as well this year, with the extremely dry weather and warnings about fireworks. Daniel enjoyed a few of the safer fireworks- snappers, smoke bombs and these long sparklers!
